JessFinessed was a 2022 finalist in the Best Home Staging Transformation category of the International Home Staging Awards. The company is based in the Boston area and offers home staging for vacant and occupied properties; interior design services; and furnishings for rental properties. Its founder, Jess Harrington, has experience auctioning fine art and antiques, and brings that keen eye to staged projects.
Terry Mainord Design won two awards at the 2022 IHSA Awards: Best Vacant Home Staging Project and Best Occupied Home Staging Project. Terry Mainord herself is originally from Houston, although she had a long career in New York as a fashion and accessories designer. Today, her Brooklyn-based staging company leverages all of those skills for home staging and interior design work.
At the 2022 IHSA Awards, Hearth and Honey was both a winner and runner-up in the Best Home Makeover Project category, and a runner-up in the Best Vacation Home Enhancement Project category. Margie Kaercher, the owner of the Tampa-based company, comes from a real estate background — her mother was a real estate agent and her father a custom home builder. In addition to staging, Hearth and Honey also offers Airbnb interior design and styling services.
In 2021, Utah-based SWAY Staging + Design was a finalist in IHSA’s Best Home Staging Transformation Project category; the company staged a remodeled home with an awkwardly sized living room, emphasizing the fireplace and the warmth of the house. Today, SWAY offers vacant home staging, vacation rental furnishing, pre-listing consultations and interior design services. The owners are top duo Maria Pappas and Kamilla Romankowski, who both have a background in business marketing.
House Candy HOME was a finalist in 2020 and 2022 in the IHSA Best Home Staging Transformation Project category. The company has a track record of getting sellers for more than the asking price on homes that House Candy has staged — including several homes that have sold for a million dollars above asking price. House Candy is based in Aptos, Calif., and led by designer Ashley Tapley. She can help with interior design, project staging, and color consultations.
For nine consecutive years, Seattle Staged to Sell and Design has won Houzz awards for best service and best design. The company has also won awards from Fresh Chalk and the International Association of Home Staging Professionals. Owner Shirin Sarikhani brings an international perspective to her projects – she was born in Iran, grew up in the US and ran an interior design business in London before moving to Seattle and starting Staged to Sell and Design. Sarikhani offers both staging and interior design services.
Chicagoland Home Staging is a multi-year winner of Real Estate Staging Association awards. The company was nominated for the 75 Best People in the Real Estate Staging World and was noted as one of the most influential people in real estate staging. The team brings over 30 years of full-time experience in the Chicago area, providing staging services for vacant and occupied homes.
