Molly, a rescue dog, and her pups are recovering from giving birth at the Arizona Humane Society.

Molly the dog is a relentless mom.
The rescue dog is recovering at the Arizona Humane Society’s Mutternity Suites, a “medical care space for pregnant and nursing dogs to deliver puppies and care for puppies,” after a harrowing birthing experience.
The Arizona Humane Society (AHS) first learned about Molly from a local emergency animal clinic. It took in a stray animal that was heavily pregnant after a rattlesnake bit a dog.
By the time AHS’s Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ (EAMT) arrived at the clinic to rescue Molly, the dog had been treated with antivenom and had given birth to three puppies.

EAMTs put 1-year-old Molly and her new puppy into their pet ambulance. And rushed the family to the injured AHS hospital for further care. During the trip to the hospital, Molly welcomed two more puppies, but the mama wasn’t done yet.

Molly and her five puppies received a check-up after arriving at the hospital. They were then placed in AHS’ Mutternity Suites where Molly gave birth to two more puppies.
The family of 8 is relaxing and bonding at the Mutternity Suites. Molly and her week-old pup are doing fine after Molly’s rattlesnake runs in and gives birth to an important one. All dogs will remain at Mutternity Suites, being cared for on site until they are ready to move into foster homes.

Molly isn’t the only mom who gets to relax and unwind at the Mutternity Suites; She is sharing space with two other new moms. The trio took care of 22 puppies together.
