Drivers have started using another new roundabout near Otsiningo Park in the town of Dickinson.
The circle is opened to traffic shortly before the Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally get underway in the park.
Interstate 81’s Front Street/Old Front Street interchange was closed for several days for the final phase of construction of the roundabout.

Although Exit 5 and the surface streets are back in service, workers are busy completing landscaping and other finishing touches to the project. The work will continue in the autumn, but no further detours are planned.
The first roundabout built as part of the $16 million interchange realignment project opened on June 18.
The State Department of Transportation chose the roundabout alternative over another design option that would have controlled traffic using signals. The signaled alternative could have cost an additional $4 million.

Orange barricades remained in place on part of Old Front Street until the work is completed.
A half-century-old bridge that carried Front Street over Interstate 81 was replaced with a wider span that includes safety features to protect pedestrians and bicyclists.
