New shopping options are coming to support restaurants in the Old Hilliard neighborhood

Two of the four businesses that will occupy the Shoppes by Westwood, 4055 Main St., on the northwest corner of Main and Norwich streets, will open on September 24.

The Urban Market and Birch Tree Home will open. A third store, MAK Home Furnishings, will open on October 6, and the fourth, Old Hilliard Mercantile, is expected to open at the end of October.

Collectively, the four independent stores will occupy the 8,000-square-foot Shoppes by Westwood.

The building recently housed a lawnmower service shop and decades ago it was an IGA supermarket before Westwood Collective bought the property and building.

Co-founded by Andy Warnock and Jeremy Whitham, Westwood Collective owns and operates several Hilliard businesses, including the Westwood Field House, 3932 Brown Park Drive, and the Junction by Westwood, 5460 Franklin St.
