Mustangs eye third regional title in a row | Sport

Muhlenberg County has won back-to-back 3rd Region championships, and despite a coaching change at the top, the Mustangs have plans to head to Rupp Arena for a third straight in March for the Sweet Sixteen.

“Of course it’s great to win the region in consecutive years, but now that’s over and it’s time to focus on this season,” said first-year head coach Aaron Morris, who takes over from Kyle Eades. “Our players have been able to see that what we do works for us, and we will continue to work as we have for the past two years.
