On Tuesday, Marriott’s W Hotels opened its newest property, W Costa Navarino, the first W Hotel in Greece.
The hotel sits on 32 acres of land that includes 1,500 feet of shoreline overlooking Navarino Bay, a small bay on the Ionian Sea in the Mediterranean.
The property will exclusively welcome adults and “young adults” over the age of 12, which W Hotels says “introduces a place that promotes creativity, individuality and freedom of expression.”

For accommodation, the hotel offers standard rooms, suites and villas, all with decor inspired by Greek craftsmen, including neutral tones with colors. Rooms range from the Wonderful guest room (a single king bed and sofa bed with a marina view and balcony) to the Fabulous Infinity Swim up (a king bed with access to the hotel pool just outside the terrace) to the WOW Infinity 3 bedroom villas with their own private pool.
For food and drink, W Costa Navarino offers Platia, a Greek food market that includes four different grab-and-go outlets, including the coffee center The Café, the Deli Store for some light bites, the bakery and the open kitchen. Cooking.
There’s also Between, a cocktail and light dinner restaurant with a menu focused on raw food including oysters, clams and caviar, and Parelia, a destination beach club offering modern Greek Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails and DJs playing a mix of genres and live music all day.
As part of its beach club essence, the hotel also includes The Escape, a nightclub that will offer a wide range of music programs including house, disco, tribal and more played by some international and local DJs. W Lounge is part of The Escape and offers a “globally inspired” menu alongside a range of cocktails.
