LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – On October 19, a News investigation revealed that two registered sex offenders were working in a haunted house on Columbia Station.
Court documents show that one of these former employees was charged with another offensive sexual offense involving a child.
Clark Eno, 58, served 16 years in prison after confessing to raping an 11-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl in 1992.
19 News learned that the Elyrian man had been arrested on 16 November for another sexual offense, this time involving a 4-year-old girl.
The habitual sex offender is accused of vulgar sexual imposition.
Eno first came onto our radar when some former employees of a haunted house said they were quitting their jobs when they learned that at least two sex offenders had been convicted in the haunted house.
When this was published in October, the owner said he fired two sex offenders because he didn’t want any trouble or bad publicity. He said he didn’t do background checks but would start doing it.
Fast forward a few weeks and Clark Eno has been charged with another sex offence.
Court documents show that in early November, a grand jury found that Eno had sexual intercourse with a person younger than 13 years old.
Lorain County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eno last Wednesday on a sex charge.
19 He discovered that the case he investigated belonged to the Elyrian police.
The sheriff’s deputies just arrested Eno because he was already on the record.
According to the police report, officers responded to a sex offense complaint filed in April by one of Eno’s family members.
One mother claimed that her daughter told police that Eno “touched her ass” as she was leaving her apartment in Elyria.
The mother’s boyfriend also told officers that he witnessed the 58-year-old inappropriately rubbing and touching the genitals of the 4-year-old woman.
The mother told the officers that this was not the first time this had happened. He said Eno was at his apartment in Elyria for Christmas 2021.
He said he witnessed Eno poking and hitting his daughter’s private parts with his cane repeatedly.
The mother told police officers that she did not want the convicted sex offender near her children and planned to order a restraining order.
Court documents show that Eno deposited his $7,500 bond the same day and was out of jail in less than four hours.
