Interior Design Show by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Outrageous Homes

If there’s anyone who really knows bold and outrageous home decor, it’s got to be Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and that’s exactly what he’ll be showcasing in his new primetime Channel 4 TV series, scandalous houses.

Forget the trends because these owners decorate as they please, and in Scandalous Houses with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the interior designer will celebrate what it means to be different. Featuring quirky and visionary looking homes, the series will provide viewers with the inspiration to step out of their comfort zone in everything from colors to patterns and furniture choices.

There’s no such thing as bad design, Laurence says, so the TV personality will meet people across the country who really do appreciate originality and have decorated their homes without any fear.

‘Huzzah! Finally, a real estate show that turns its back on Delusions of Blandeur and instead celebrates homes that take OTT to another level of FABULOUS. In fact, we are going to film in spaces of such OUTRAGEOUSNESS I will be the most discreet on the screen, which is, let’s face it, an extraordinary achievement…”, comments Laurence.

Fitting rooms Star Laurence will find out why the owners dared to be different with their designs, exactly how they did it, as well as how much it all cost. He will also meet the designers, decorators and architects who helped bring these creative and living visions to life.

Channel 4 editor Deborah Dunnett says Laurence’s new show “is an entirely different series of properties”, adding: “As the epitome of extravagance and eccentricity, Laurence Llewelyn- Bowen is the perfect person to host it.” Who wants uniformity anyway?
