As Cupid’s big day approaches, Montgomery County businesses are offering several tasty — and sometimes quirky — ways to celebrate your main squeeze on February 14.

From animal encounters to special music and divine chocolate, here are five ways to celebrate your love on Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day goat gram

If your Valentine would love a cute bitch, Conroe’s The Learning Zoo is offering Goat Grams on February 14th. The Learning Zoo comes to your home for a 20-minute session with a Pygmy Nigerian Dwarf Goat.

They will also bring a box of chocolates and goat feed. These sessions are only available in The Woodlands and there are only 22 spots available. The experience is $50 and can be purchased at https://bit.ly/3ZYoqx7.

If a goat Gram isn’t in the cards on Feb. 14, The Learning Zoo at 15428 Delores Lane in Conroe is also hosting a Valentine’s Day event from 6 p.m. 10 am to 2 pm on February 12. petting zoo, petting zoo, Valentine’s Day card and meet pictures with Queen Elsa and her horse. The Learning Zoo is an animal experience located on FM 1488 near Texas 242. They offer guided tours, private animal experiences, birthday parties and educational events for students.

They have a variety of reptiles, turtles, pygmy Nigerian pygmy goats, a hedgehog, prairie dogs, Kune Kune pigs – a Polynesian breed from New Zealand – and much more.

Chocolate passion

Terry and Zulay Quinn own Conroe’s Chocolate Passion chocolate shop.

They advise you to plan ahead when planning a sweet treat for your significant other.

A native of Venezuela, Zulay makes handmade chocolate from Venezuelan Criollo Cacao. They also have a selection of coffees, desserts, smoothies, soups, sandwiches and salads on their lunch menu.

One of their Valentine’s Day specialties is chocolate covered strawberries, but Terry asked customers to order at least two days in advance.

Market Street concerts

Couples looking for a lovely way to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with their significant other can attend two concerts in Market Street’s Central Park. While you’re there for the music, take photos at a nearby Valentine’s Day Photo Show in the Park 11-14. February.

On February 11, Divisi Strings will perform a candlelight concert in Market Street’s Central Park. The Valentine’s Day concert includes jazz from the Fahrenheit Duo. Both are from 6 to 8 pm

Couples are encouraged to make a reservation for two at one of Market Street’s restaurants bordering Central Park or bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the concerts.

Fuel your love with food

Margaritaville on Lake Conroe has several options for celebrating Love Island style.

A Valentine’s Candlelight Dinner is set for 18.00 to 21.00 on February 11 in the Waterside Cove restaurant. Dinner features a three-course prix-fixe dinner in a candlelit setting overlooking Lake Conroe. All guests will be greeted with a rose from Bell and Beast from “Beauty and the Beast”. The License to Chill restaurant offers a Valentine’s romantic menu on February 11 and February 14. Dinner is a four-course prix-fixe dinner with Bellini toast, starters and main and dessert. The price is $79. Make a reservation at 877-286-9590.

Margaritaville also offers a luxurious Valentine Suite and cruises on Einstein’s Party Barge at 16.00 11 February and 14 February.

A number of Montgomery County restaurants such as Federal American Grill, Fieldings Local Kitchen + Bar and The Woodlands Resort are also offering Valentine’s Day menus.

Pass out on a swan ride

While you wait for dinner at one of the restaurants in The Woodlands Mall, try a ride on one of The Woodlands Waterway swan boats to pass the time.

Swan pedal boats can be booked for 30 minutes or an hour and can seat up to four. Openings are available this Saturday and Sunday.
