How I Use the Five Seconds Rule to Get Out of Bed Every Day |

Anyone who’s had the pleasure of interacting with me before 10 a.m. will know how I feel about mornings – and I hate them fiercely. Like most teens, I remember how much I struggled to get out of bed when the alarm clock went off at school, and now, in my early twenties, the problem remains.

The same euphoric circuit occurs every day (even on the weekends) when I set my alarm for sometime should Let me easily leave the house. Then, sure enough, I find I’m still in bed at least 10 minutes after the time I set as the “absolute cut-off point” I naively decided the night before.
