From Punkin Patch comes reusable craft items

HOLDEN – Debra Osipov makes her unique handmade products “with patience, paint, cloth, glue, and love.”

“Many items are reused from other items,” she said of her Punkin Patch crafts, which are sold at the Holden Store and at Stirling Street Market.

“Figurines in many sizes and themes, teacups, home décor, outdoor décor, masks, and blankets,” she said, listing some of the items.

The “wild” mushrooms you make are from bowls, vases, plates, and other things they can collect and color.

“I just started eating mushrooms a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to use up some extra glassware I had. I make different items from painting and decorating old stair spindles too.”

Practicality raised some of them.

“I made many of them because I couldn’t afford the prices for crafts and decor. I look at things a little differently at flea markets and resource places. Ideas evolve from there.”
