EDGE™ has been selected to apply its expertise to a new bespoke estate at 1829 Plumbago Way, in the Isle of Toscano neighborhood of Gray Oaks. Built by Diamond Custom Homes, the home was put up for sale during the pre-construction stage before being put up for sale. Construction started in June 2021 and completion is expected in the fall of 2022.
Located on one of the community’s last remaining homes, the two-story, four-bedroom, four full bath and two half bath estate will feature interior design by Adriene Ged of EDGE™, architecture by Jon Kukk of Kukk Architecture & Design, PA , landscaping by Christian Andrea of Architectural Land Design, and architectural lighting and full home automation by Quantum AV, Inc. Located on a cul-de-sac, the 0.75-acre site has a northwest exposure overlooking the water to the golf course across the 16th hole of the Palm course.
When completed, the home will offer over 10,000 square feet in an open great room floor plan with natural stone marble trim on the exterior and interior, black Andersen® windows, and an interior elevator. The interior concept of the home will be modern and textured with clean lines, with a neutral color palette to complement the homeowners’ extensive art and sculpture collection. Following the neutral color palette, the house will feature raked marble trim, white Carrera marble and wide plank Legno Bastone’ European white oak floors with herringbone inserts in both the kitchen and master suite.
The entrance includes a large stone-paved motor plaza with east and west two car garages with glass garage doors, with a passageway leading to the private owner’s entrance. A double-door covered entrance leads to the spacious two-storey foyer. The first residential level, which serves as the ground floor of the house, has a living space of 5,221 square meters. The owner’s wing, which will be located on the left side of the house, is accentuated by the owner’s study and living room. The well-appointed study will offer a masculine moody theme with black wood clad walls and gold cabinet accents.
The adjoining master suite will feature a spacious sitting area with floor-to-ceiling windows, his and hers master closets, a morning bar, private water closets, freestanding soaking tub, an oversized walk-in shower and dual vanities. The master bedroom overlooks a private landscaped courtyard with access to the pool deck and outdoor areas.
Directly through the foyer, the open concept great room provides access to the main living and dining areas of the house. Through the foyer on the right is a spacious kitchen with a large center island, catering kitchen, utility room, breakfast area and a separate formal dining room. Accented by a true black and white matte finish from True Residentialâ Sub Zero | Wolfâ appliances, the kitchen will feature custom cabinetry in white and black with a walnut interior and natural marble worktops. The hood and back of the island have ribbed panels that create a clean texture and dimensions. A custom metal end display table at the end of the island provides additional storage space.
The formal dining room has a smoked glass ceiling and a custom display cabinet. Beyond the formal dining room, you’ll find a guest suite, custom butler pantry, elevator, stairs, utility/laundry room, and powder bath.
The great room, which will have a linear fireplace, leads directly to the front porch and a 718 square foot covered outdoor area with a full outdoor kitchen with an additional linear fireplace, a covered patio. The expansive pool deck, paved with oversized 24-by48-inch pavers, will feature a custom pool with two negatives and a separate water feature in the center, sun rack, and spa.
The second residential level will consist of 1,786 square feet with air conditioning, two VIP en-suite bedrooms, spacious club room with wet bar, rehearsal room, elevator, elevator foyer and stairs, and over 600 square feet of front and rear-facing balconies and verandas.
