Celebrity chef Chelsea Winter sold her Bay of Plenty lifestyle property Olive Hill after lowering the asking price to just under $2 million earlier this month.
Te Puna’s home was listed for $2.49 million on real estate agency Oliver Road in October, but was reduced to $1,998 million to meet the current market with two major price adjustments.
Oliver Road managing director Cameron Winter confirmed that the Crawford Road property has been sold and is one of two properties listed unconditionally by his agency last week.
Old MasterChef New Zealand The winner’s family home and a new home on The Boulevard in Tauranga, Pāpāmoa, whose price dropped to $1.68 million in December, both sold slightly above asking price as multiple parties competed for them.

Cameron Winter said Chelsea Winter and her partner Douglas Renall are itching to continue with their plans, and that a local family will soon be enjoying everything they have created and loved about Olive Hill.
As the couple listed their three-bedroom, two-bathroom home for over three years, they said it will always have a special place in their hearts.
“It’s been a haven of peace and tranquility for our little family – private, yet everything you need is at hand and there are some great beaches nearby for the summer.”
The designer kitchen had also become an “absolute dream”.

“I’m going to miss him terribly, now like an old friend,” Winter said on the list.
Winter moved from Auckland to the Bay of Plenty five years ago after selling her Point Chevalier home and told NZME at the time that she was drawn to the area because of her family’s proximity and lifestyle.
Earlier this month, Cameron Winter told OneRoof that they got a much better response as the price of Olive Hill dropped to $1,998 million.
Eight proposals were made on his list of four last week, Winter said, and they came from an equal split from local and non-regional, as people often want to make changes at the start of the year.
The agency has seen a notable increase in the number of buyers in the market in recent weeks, with most of these buyers coming from Auckland and some other major cities.
