Police body camera footage released today shows a man in Charlotte — Was shot and killed by police last year after robbing a grocery store — while walking away from officers holding a gun.
The image is consistent with what the District Attorney found in his review of mass shootings and contradicts part of police officer Charlotte-Mecklenberg’s statement after the shooting
