Are you looking for your new best friend? Russell has the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes you’ve ever seen. And it’s easy to get lost in those eyes He came to Wayside from another state as part of a partnership move.

Everything was new to him from an early age. So he enrolled in the Confidence College program at our Canine Behavior Center. He learned that he enjoyed being around people and other dogs. He was so confident with his loyal canine friends that he needed a home with another playful dog. Russell also loves to play fetch and enjoys tennis balls and squeaky toys. He’s a fun ball. But he also knows how to relax on the couch and snuggle.

Ziggy is here to make your day. She has a lovely purr. She has lived in the house all her life. Until a family emergency led Ziggy’s owner to the difficult decision to give her up for adoption. They loved her very much and knew Wayside was where she would find her forever home.

Ziggy had a hard time adjusting to life in the shelter. Staying at home can be difficult. She waited for staff and volunteers to visit her and demanded so much attention that we put her in adoptions so she could get the attention she needed. Her foster mother had one cat, and Ziggy got on well with them. She was less stressed out and returned to her cuddly self again.

She can snuggle, play and take a nap whenever she wants. And that’s a lovely show. Ziggy is ready for a permanent home. She is ready to find that person or family to enjoy and spend the rest of her days. Maybe you? Meet Ziggy today.
