Amanda Holden has previously described the Surrey home she shares with husband Chris Hughes and their daughters as her “forever home”, but it appears they’ve changed their minds after selling the property for £5million.

The Britain’s Got Talent Judge has made several improvements to the property since the move in 2015, creating everything from a house bar to a luxurious garden room, and putting her own stamp on the interior with bold colours, quirky wall art and chic furnishings – and she’s loved it. her fans every step of the way on Instagram.

Amanda Holden’s house in Surrey
The Heart Radio star has opted for opulent black and silver interiors in her bedroom, with a black velvet sofa at the end of the bed, gloss black bedside tables and a pair of matching black and silver pineapple table lamps.
Amanda exhibited her beautiful new garden room in April, revealing that it has a relaxing seating area and bar, set on a large wooden terrace in the garden with a hot tub.
Recently, Amanda shared a photo from her garden after planting a palm tree in honor of Sir Captain Tom Moore. It features a beautiful gray patio with a wraparound seating area surrounding a beautiful glass-framed contemporary fire pit, and steps leading to a hot tub built into the floor next to a stone sculpture.

The presenter of Hartradio enjoyed herself during the lockdown by mowing the grass in her wedding dress. The lawn has a border area filmed with plants and flowers, with a brick wall topped with a trellis instead of a wooden fence.

Amanda renovated her kitchen during the lockdown and showed off the results on Instagram. The updates include brand new cabinets and countertops, which Amanda attributed to Cosentino, a company specializing in household surfaces, and Marble Ideas Ltd, where she purchased the materials for the space, and mirrored tiles on the walls. She also changed things up with a darker color scheme seen in navy blue cabinets and bronze accents on the door handles and lampshades.
Amanda previously decorated her kitchen in 2019, when she hung three striking pendant lamps over her breakfast bar at £850 each. The room has a brick wall with sleek white cabinets and was decorated with a vase of fresh flowers and an orchid.
Amanda also unveiled her dining room in 2019, after renovations next to the kitchen. The mother of two transformed the space with a round marble dining table with velvet chairs and the piece the resistance, a dazzling £5,000 pendant lamp hanging over Timothy Oulton’s head.
At the start of the pandemic, Amanda announced her decision to self-isolate with a post in her home revealing dark blue and gold pineapple-print wallpaper. She also has several other pineapple accessories in the house.
In another room, Amanda has opted for a pineapple lamp to match her wallpaper. It costs £125 from Graham and Green, and the same design has also been used in the new This Morning studios.
Amanda revealed her living room makeover in an Instagram post in early September 2019, featuring her moody decor, featuring midnight blue walls and a striking azure velvet sofa. Very chic!
At the same time, the home bar has undergone an impressive makeover and is fully stocked with a wide variety of spirits. The perfect place to throw a party with her BGT co-stars, don’t you think?!
“We’ve got record prices and an electric guitar on the wall, plus a huge photo of a girl in a spacesuit and a useless Pacman machine!” Amanda told House Beautiful about her beloved bar.
Amanda and Chris bought their home in 2015, with the TV judge excitedly telling fans, “So happy!! Just completed on our forever home! #lovemyhubby our girls are sooo excited!” The property was originally built in the 1930s, but had recently been renovated, and Amanda said she “slandered” the builder for a year, until he sold it to them.

Amanda doesn’t shy away from color or print in this room! The mother of two has Cole & Son patterned mustard wallpaper in this living room at the back, which she says “sounds like a nightmare, but looks great!” And we agree.
The rear living room also has a grand piano placed in the corner – the perfect backdrop for an outfit of the day post! Amanda and her husband have committed to the mustard gray color scheme by painting the baseboards and door frames a light gray shade, with a mustard carpet for the finishing touch.

The family also has a country retreat in the Cotswolds, which they renovated over the past year. The living room has traditional wooden beams on the ceiling and hardwood floors, which have been covered with a John Lewis rug by Amanda. And as a token of her love of color, she added a large velvet corner sofa from Loaf with colorful cushions in shades of orange and green.
The bedroom is just as spectacular, with exposed brick walls and wooden ceiling beams. Amanda has furnished the room with an imposing brass Dickens bed frame from And So To Bed, which costs from £9,165!
We’re sure any guest would love to stay in this guest bedroom, which comes in a pretty pink color scheme. Amanda has used Barne by Gates wallpaper and added white suitcases from her Bundleberry for QVC collection to the side of the bed. Another Graham and Green pineapple lamp adds some character to the room.
At Christmas, Amanda brightened up her traditional thatched cottage with a pop of color and opted for beautiful red and green door decorations. Small red flowers and large pale pink roses are scattered among the green foliage next to gold, red and green baubles. Showing off her beautiful festive door courtesy of Early Hours London, the star posted a video of the welcoming scene on Instagram, captioning it: “All I want for Christmas… is a fabulous front door!!” With this bauble-filled and berry-filled creation, the mother of two definitely got what she wished for!
This guest bedroom is a great place for Amanda to relax, with a striking armchair from David Phillips Furniture and a plaid blanket to keep it cozy.
