Welcoming a child into your home can be costly, so we are always on the lookout for the necessities at affordable prices to reduce the burden.

The new Mini Me Spaces from Aldi does just that, with contemporary furniture and décor items to spice up the nursery without breaking the bank.

The collection includes everything from comfy soft toys to stylish storage units, all designed to provide a luxurious feel on a budget.

A highlight of the line is Aldi’s color-wise metallic furniture collection, with an industrial yet simple feel that fits in any room.

At just under £300 for the bedside table (£49.99), chest of drawers (£119.99) and dresser (£124.99), it rivals the more expensive options available elsewhere.

If you’re upgrading your child’s play area, Aldi will also sell a kids’ table and chairs (£49.99) perfect for crafts or tea parties.

In addition to the table, each set comes with two chairs adorned with adorable earcups – sure to add a touch of woodland wonder to any nursery.

Or, if you’re looking for a pocket money treat, shoppers can pick up Hanging Monkey and Swinging Sloth Soft Toys for just £6.99 each.

Lovable characters with long arms look great hanging from bedposts and curtain rods, giving the room a tropical jungle feel.

Along with these items, the middle aisles of the supermarket will be full of toys and necessities for a growing family.

As always with Aldi’s Specialbuys range, you’ll need to be quick if you’ve got your heart set on anything. Once they run out, don’t miss the chance before the items sell out.

Aldi’s Mini Me Spaces collection is available for pre-order online now and in stores starting August 4.
