Whether you’re shopping for a home in a growing city, a cozy neighborhood, or a popular coastal town, a million dollars goes a long way. In the eleventh episode of price listWe toured three homes in Idaho, Georgia and California. Although separated by many miles, each home has something in common, including stellar backyards and gorgeous open concept designs.
Meridian, Idaho: $999,999
Immaculate and clean, this stunning Idaho home welcomes you with a bright blue door. Once inside, the open concept floor plan showcases the living, dining and kitchen area. Built in 2022, everything about this home is brand new.
Dark accents are used throughout the space. This includes a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, ceiling fan and pendant lights above the kitchen island. Hardwood floors and built-in shelving add warmth to the black balance. Natural light floods into the space from floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the landscaped backyard. The dining area has easy access to a large covered patio.
Three bedrooms are located on the sides of the house. Each has large windows that let in sunlight. Adjacent to one of the bedrooms is a narrow space offering two built-in desks with cupboards. This corner is the perfect place to work from home or catch up on homework. The master bedroom has a master en-suite bathroom which is the perfect place to pamper yourself. It has a large porcelain bathtub and walk-in shower. A separate vanity provides ample space for toiletries and cosmetics.
Upstairs, the home boasts a large open attic with an attached full bathroom. This room can be converted into a family room, bedroom or multi-purpose space. Outside, a 1,300-square-foot garage provides three stalls (including space for an RV!). The home is subject to a semi-annual HOA fee of $500.

This rustic and charming new ranch is located in a small town north of Atlanta. As you enter the double doors you are greeted with an open concept living space. Wood beams and columns add simple elegance. The glossy white kitchen shines with marble countertops, subway tiles, and classic cabinetry. A window near the farmhouse kitchen sink provides a beautiful view of the front yard. Hidden in plain sight behind cabinet doors, the pantry offers storage for food and equipment.
Off the kitchen, brick fireplace with built in shelving surround. The outdoor living space continues with a spacious covered porch that has a fireplace. This elevated space overlooks the powerful backyard. Downstairs provides access to a spacious patio. Protected from the elements, it’s an ideal place to host summer barbecues.
The primary bedroom is also located on the main floor. A large array of windows provide natural light which illuminates the coffered ceiling and wood floors. The space features a tall wardrobe with built in shelves. The attached bathroom includes a spa bath and walk-in shower.
Two more bedrooms are located on the second floor. One of them has an en-suite bathroom. Plus, a great bonus with French doors could be used as an office, playroom or extra bedroom.
Ventura, California: $999,999
Sunny days, blue skies, and quick trips to the ocean are all perks of living in Ventura, California. This spacious home is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. When you enter the home, you are immediately immersed in an open concept living and dining area with vaulted ceilings. Through the dining room is the U-shaped kitchen with granite countertops and cherry cabinets. There is ample food storage in the wall of floor to ceiling cupboards. The breakfast bar provides space for informal dining. Off the kitchen is a large additional area with French doors leading out onto a covered patio.
The fenced backyard provides plenty of space and privacy. The sloping platform garden levels display a variety of plants. Integrated stairs provide easy access to the bridge. To the front of the house, there is a two car lock up garage. If your family is full of explorers, there is additional RV space.
One of the biggest selling points of this home is the secondary suite located on the main floor. This space has its own living room, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and outside entrance. On the second floor, there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
